Time really does fly, doesn’t it? It feels like just yesterday we were immersed in the hustle and bustle of enrollment, and now, here we are, already into the second month of classes for the first semester of School Year 2023-2024. As we approach the mid-term examinations, I want to take a moment to reflect on our journey so far and share some important updates.
I commend each and every one of you for adapting so well to our hybrid learning modality, which combines online and in-campus-learning. Your dedication to your studies and your ability to adjust to this new normal has been truly remarkable.
September has passed us by in a whirlwind of activities here on campus. We recently hosted the Bar examinations, and our faculty and staff have worked tirelessly to assist and support our barristers. Just as in the past two years, I have every confidence that our law graduates will continue to excel in the Bar exams.
I am thrilled to announce that we achieved a 100 percent passing rate for first takers in the licensure exam for Criminology. Congratulations to our successful examinees. May you carry forward the torch of success and inspire future examiners with your achievements.
Our recent grand celebration, with a fiesta theme and a general assembly, provided an opportunity for us to come together and discuss important matters to ensure that we are all on the same page. It is essential that we maintain open lines of communication to foster a strong and united community.
In keeping with our commitment to total development and balanced life-education approach, we have offered numerous tryouts for sports activities, including basketball and volleyball. Our Senior High School Basketball Team has already competed in an invitational game with Trinity University of Asia at our world-class basketball court in Victoria Sports Tower.
Furthermore, we are proud to announce significant collaborations with both the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). These partnerships will provide academic and training opportunities as well as financial assistance for our students, ensuring a brighter future for all.
Looking ahead, this month promises to be just as hectic. We will begin preparing our graduates for the licensure examination in Civil Engineering. Additionally, the second session of the Art Workshop, led by the young and renowned artist Kim Cruz is set to commence. We have lined up a series of seminars and workshops to enhance your educational experience, and our non-academic personnel are diligently reviewing internal processes and operations to serve you better.
