Quezonians, meet your newly elected campus leaders

New CSG Officers Take Oath, Hit The Ground Running

The newly elected officers of the MLQU Central Student Government took their oath last March 9, 2023 witnessed by top officials of MLQU, including Atty. Paquito Ochoa, Jr., MLQU President Ms. Lucille Ortile, MLQU EVP, Ms. Sofia Caccam, Head of the Office of Student and Atty. Barry Aquino, CSG Adviser Affairs.

The elections were held on March 3, 2023. Elected were the following:

Faced with the high expectations of those who elected them,  the newly elected  officers immediately buckled down to work to plot out the activities within their term. These include Mental Health Awareness, Mindfulness and Resilience; launching of Sports and e-Sports activity; formation of MLQU Marching Band; Voters’ Education; Lessons on Technical Writing, among others. There is also a proposal to forge partnerships with other Council/ Central Government organizations of other universities.

Somebody once said, if you want to nurture a successor generation imbued with the spirit of good governance, start at the school campus. It’s like national politics in a microcosm.

To our newly elected CSG officers, the ball has been passed to you. Prove worthy of the trust that Quezonians have invested in you. Put to work your talents and passion for action for a better MLQU!
