MLQU AND Cyberscool Defcon Inc. Strengthen Cybersecurity Education Through Partnership

Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) and Cyberscool Defcon Inc. recently joined forces in a landmark Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on May 26, 2023, in MLQU Campus.  The agreement solidified MLQU’s role as the host institution for Cyberscool’s flagship training program, the “Cyber Security Bootcamp Zero to Hero” course. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in enhancing cybersecurity knowledge and practice in the Philippines.

Cyberscool, a private corporation and the exclusive distributor of ThriveDX training courses in the country, is a global leader in cyber education.  Their primary mission is to educate and train both public and private sector professionals, elevating the level of professionalism and expertise in cybersecurity.  By partnering with MLQU, Cyberscool aims to expand its reach and deliver high-quality cybersecurity training to a broader audience.

One notable aspect of Cyberscool’s training programs is their successful adoption of the accelerated training methodology used by the elite Israeli Defense Forcein developing cybersecurity experts.  Their Bootcamp program, in particular, has garnered acclaim for its ability to transform individuals with no IT background or experience into proficient and knowledgeable cybersecurity practitioners.  This unique approach ensures that learners gain the necessary skills to excel in the field, further strengthening the cybersecurity landscape in the Philippines.
