Students who enjoy positive relationships are 7 times as likely to be engaged in their work. Students report that doing homework together is more productive than studying alone. This is true, whether they are in pairs or groups. “If you spend time with a friend who is happy, you are 15.3% more likely to be happy as well.”
Students in MLQU who attended the session last 26 April 2021 found out that the people you surround yourself with are, in fact, your richest and most readily available resource. Also, the quality of relationships is an indicator of happiness and success in college.
Ms. Kate Cabigao, a graduate of New York University and MLQU’s Student Experience Lead conducted the session.
