Digital Marketing Crash Course at MLQU: A Dynamic Learning Experience Led by Mr. Dominic Roque

March 8th, Friday, saw the Victoria Tower Cinema come alive with vibrant energy as Senior High School, undergraduate students and staff gathered for the MLQU Digital Marketing Crash Course. This collaborative effort between Manuel L. Quezon University and Black Peak Hypermedia promised to equip the next generation with the essential skills to conquer the digital marketing landscape.

The roster of speakers was led by none other than Mr. Dominic Roque, a multi-talented personality, known for his prowess in acting, business,  and media influence.  Mr. Roque’s presence added a touch of glamour to the event, offering students unique insights into the intersection of entertainment, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing.

The crash course unfolded with the registration of eager attendees, followed by a spirited rendition of the National Anthem and an opening prayer to set the tone for the day.  The welcoming remarks of Vice President for Academic Affairs Ar. John Joseph Fernandez paved the way for the highlight of the event — the introduction of guest speakers and the commencement of the crash course discussions.

Mr. Dominic Roque took center stage during the first segment, sharing his experiences and shedding light on the intricacies of creating a personal brand on social media.  His journey from acting to entrepreneurship provided valuable lessons for aspiring influences and digital marketers in the audience.

The second topic, on social media branding,  by Mr. Dennis Arce, delve into the evolving landscape of social media and its pivotal role in shaping business strategies.  Attendees gained insights into refining their brand identity and building meaningful relationships with their audience.

The final topic on visual branding by Ms. PJ Ramos explored the importance of visual elements in brand perception and recognition.  Practical tips and tools for effective visual branding were shared, empowering students to distinguish their brands in visually saturated digital world.

The event seamlessly transitioned into a panel setup for a Q&A session, providing students with the opportunity to engage directly with Mr. Roque and other expert speakers.  This interactive session allowed attendees to seek personalized advice and clarify doubts, adding a layer of practicality to the theoretical knowledge imparted throughout the day.

Thereafter, the event shifted gears to acknowledge the speakers with a token of appreciation and certificates.  The closing message of Executive Vice President Lucille Ortile encapsulated the essence of the Digital Marketing Crash Course, leaving the attendees inspired and ready to apply their new found knowledge in the dynamic world of digital marketing.

The event, led by the charismatic Mr. Dominic Roque, transcended traditional classroom learning.  It became a platform where students not only acquired knowledge but also witnessed the practical fusion of entertainment, business, and media influence in the realm of digital marketing.  This event is just the first in a series.  As the participants embark on their digital marketing journey, the lessons from this crash course, enriched by the insights of Mr. Roque and the other speakers, will undoubtedly serve as a guiding light in their pursuit of success in the ever changing world of social and digital media.
