Celebrating Academic Excellence: Manuel L. Quezon University’s Graduation Honors for Batch 2023

Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) is thrilled to announce the exceptional students who will be awarded academic honors during the forthcoming graduation ceremonies, marking the 76th graduation rites of the esteemed institution.  On July 9, 2023, MLQU will confer these well-deserved accolades upon a group of accomplished individuals who have demonstrated outstanding academic prowess and dedication to their fields of study.

The highlight of this year’s honorees are the five outstanding students who will be recognized as Magna Cum Laude graduates.  Vincent Elijah Carmelo G. Gatchalian and Robert Andreu Yu, Jr., both from the School of Criminal Justice, Renz Emmanuel T. Fonte and Don Dave T. Bondoc from the School of Business (BS Legal Management), and Edriann D. Bermio from the School of Engineering (BS Civil Engineering) have exemplified exceptional dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence throughout their university journey.  Their achievements are testament to their unwavering commitment to their studies and the pursuit of knowledge. 

MLQU also takes great pride in acknowledging two remarkable students who will graduate with the distinction of Cum Laude.  RV Klein P. Ricalde from the School of Business (BS Legal Management) and John Gabriel M.  Nabong from the School of Engineering (Civil Engineering) have consistently demonstrated remarkable academic capabilities, impressing both their peers and faculty members alike.  Their hard work, discipline, and intellectual curiosity have earned them this distinguished honor.

Furthermore, the School of Law at MLQU has produced a group of outstanding graduates who have earned the honor of Second Honors.  Francis Nathan S. Vista, Kayla Gethsemane R. Acosta, Dannah Loise C. Catucod, Cathy A. Pauig, Justine Joy P. Galvez and Ralph Emmanuel T. Villarico have showcased exceptional aptitude in their legal studies.  Their commitment to academic excellence, critical thinking, and a thorough understanding of the law has set them apart as exemplary students.

What makes these academic achievers even more impressive is the fact that they hail from diverse background and face different challenges.  Among them are working students who have managed to balance their professional responsibilities with their academic pursuits.  Others have showcased their entrepreneurial spirit by successfully managing their own businesses while excelling in their studies.  Additionally, the honorees have actively engaged in extracurricular activities, showcasing their talents in various fields outside the classroom.  Furthermore, several of these exceptional students have also taken up leadership roles within the university, proving their ability to excel academically while making a positive impact on their peers.

MLQU celebrates the achievements of these remarkable individuals as they represent the university’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded graduates who excel not only in academics but also in various aspects of life.  The university takes pride in providing an inclusive and supportive environment that allows students to thrive and reach their fullest potential.
