The STEM Strand

The STEM strand is designed for MLQU students who desire to pursue college degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). MLQU can help prepare you in using science, math, engineering, and technology to solve real-life problems.  MLQU will help empower the students to become innovators and technologically proficient problem solvers and career ready skills. MLQU is determined to widen the interest of students in STEM and STEM-related courses.

You may continue your journey with MLQU with the following program:

  1. BS in Civil Engineering
  2. BS in Sanitary Engineering
  3. BS in Electrical Engineering
  4. BS in Architecture

 

With the STEM Strand, it can lead you to careers in any branches of science including biology, chemistry, medical science, physics, computer science, psychology and the social sciences. Careers in technology fields such as computer programmers, web developers, software systems developers, computer network architects and computer systems analysts.  Careers in Engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil and environmental engineering. Careers in mathematics include accounting, calculus, economics, or anything that uses math reasoning and problem solving.

The HUMSS Strand

The HUMSS strand is designed for MLQU students who desire to pursue college degrees in Political Science, Anthropology, Linguistic, Journalism, Liberal Arts, Communication Arts, Education, Foreign Studies, Political Science, Literature, Theater Arts, economics and other social-science related courses.The HUMSS strand focuses on the study of human behavior and societal changes, and analysis of arts, culture, literature, and politics. WIth HUMSS, MLQU is determined to shape our future leaders for the betterment of our country and law, “Pro Patria et Jure”.

With HUMSS, MLQU empowers the students to seek and understand human and society, and enhances critical thinking. .  

You may continue your journey with MLQU with our BS in Criminology program.

With HUMSS, you could become a teacher, lawyer, politician, criminologist, police officer, sociologist, author/editor, historian, curator, cultural anthropologist, geologist, interpreter, and so on.

The ABM Strand

The ABM Strands mainly focuses on courses in accounting, business and management, entrepreneurship, banking and finance.
