Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) welcomed the Academic Year 2022-2023 with a series of Orientation Talks held at the MLQU Melbourne Conference Room. MLQU officials, respective school deans, and faculty warmly welcomed freshmen and upper class students.
The series began on August 8, 2022, with Hiwaga: Freshmen Scholars’ Welcoming Event. The new batch of MLQU scholars participated in a variety of activities to learn more about the university. The batch included 42 students: 5 from the School of Criminal Justice, 17 from the School of Management, Accountancy, and Real Estate, 10 from the School of Engineering, and 10 from the School of Business (School of Architecture).
The scholars were introduced to the history of MLQU, the university administrators, the school mission-vision, and the officers of the “Kapisaanan ng mga Sckolars ng MLQU,” who spearheaded all event preparations.
Now instilled in their minds is the vision, mission, history and legacy, and the renewed sense of purpose of MLQU as one of the country’s most distinguished educational institutions, as the countdown has begun towards its historic 75th year to be celebrated this November.
